How to get there
By air
The nearest and most convenient airport to Taormina is Catania Airport (about 60 km, 45 mins drive). Other options include flying to Palermo (3 hours drive), Trapani (4 hours drive) or Reggio Calabria (30mins crossing time to Messina plus 30mins drive).
From the UK:

Airport connections
To get from Catania Airport to Taormina, there is a direct bus service with Interbus (journey time about 1 hour), taxis at about 90 euros (journey time 45 mins), or you can hire a car with some of the main companies. We may be able to arrange a pick-up service from Catania Airport for small parties.
