Sicilian food at your door
We are pleased to offer the possibility of having a traditional Sicilian meal prepared and delivered to your door from our cook. This would enable you to sample the local food at its most authentic in the comfort of your own home. Our cook, while not all being a professional chef, produces genuine expressions of the Sicilian cuisine and we have received a lot of enthusiastic feedback from previous guests.
Our cook does all the necessary food shopping, prepares the entire meal at her home (within the villa complex) and brings the food to your villa. You can expect a mouth-watering meal consisting of a wide range of starters, two varieties of pasta dishes, two second courses (meat or fish) with salad, fruit and a dessert, all this accompanied by a bottle of Sicilian "house" wine. What is sure is that the ingredients will be whatever is available fresh when you are there, Sicilian cuisine follows the seasons rigorously and no two days’ fishing catches are the same!
Prices per person are 30 euros for a meat or vegetarian-based meal and 40 euros for a fish-based meal. Just let us know your requirements and we will organise everything else!
